Seeing the Big Apple from above is a pretty special experience, more so when it's from the world's most famous observation decks.

And now, visitors to New York City can head to the top of the Empire State Building before dawn to see the sun rise over the City that Never Sleeps.

The new "sunrise experience" will see guests hoisted to the 86th-floor observatory half an hour before the sun comes up, but get in quick if you're headed Stateside soon – there are only 100 tickets available per sunrise.

"Thousands each year rise to see the sunrise at the Grand Canyon.  For the first time ever, they will be able to do so from the heart of New York City," observatory director Jean-Yves Ghazi said.

The sunrise experience will be open to the public between October 1 and November 20, 2016, and costs $130 per person.
