Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas unveils its new million-dollar penthouse suites

The iconic Cosmopolitan hotel in Las Vegas has finally opened its top four floors to the public, after undergoing a glamourous $1 million USD refurbishment.

In a bid to keep the high-rollers in the house, the hotel is now offering the most deluxe accommodation experience, thanks to the casino’s five-year capital investment plan with the Blackstone Group.

Brian Benowitz, the senior vice president of casino operations explained to Bloomberg that before, guests who wanted to play a million dollars or more in the casino would often stay elsewhere.

"People play more where they sleep. They were players and not stayers," Benowitz added.

After recruiting the help of designer Adam Tihany, the top floors of the hotel which boast views of the famous Bellagio Fountain and balconies overlooking the strip have finally been furnished and are available to anyone willing to make a minimum buy-in of $1 million at the Reserve, the Cosmopolitan’s high-roller lounge.

So what can these high rollers expect during a stay at the Cosmopolitan? The villa experience offers bottles of $56,000 Louis XIII Black Pearl Cognac, there’s a grand piano included in each room, around-the-clock butler service, chauffeured airport transfers in a variety of luxury SUVs, and a full culinary team that will prepare anything your heart desires.  

If only we had a spare million dollars lying around.
