Jetstar's legendary Japan sale is here, with flights from $316

Jetstar is breaking the internet once more with its famous 'fly to Japan, return for free' sale, and it's got us scrambling for our passports faster than you can say "origami".

If you've been planning on heading to the land of the rising sun, now's the time to do it, as these cheap-as-sushi fares are only available until midnight 7 October, and they're selling like okonomiyaki (that's Japanese for hot cakes ICYDK).

So, in a nutshell, here's the low-down.

You pay for the flight out to Tokyo or Osaka and get your return flight for free. Yes, as in you pay nothing at all for the flight back home. You can basically fork out as little as $316 to fly from Cairns to Tokyo and back. Doubt you could even fly one way from Cairns to Sydney for that price these days. 

Travel is from May 13 to June 26, 2019, which is a pretty sweet time to go to Japan as it's nice and warm, so you can escape the winter chill and still catch a few of those famous cherry blossoms, if you're lucky.

So put the chopsticks down and virtually Sumo-wrestle your way to the Jetstar site for these ridiculously cheap airfares before they're like "sayonara, sucker!".
