Private island's glass-walled swimming pool becomes Instagram hit with a twist

An exclusive $6,000-a-night private island in Fiji has become the birth place for an unusual new Instagram trend – the glass pool belfie. That's butt selfie against a glass-walled swimming pool, if you were in doubt.

The Laucala Island Resort describes itself as a tropical hideaway, with deserted beaches, surrounded by volcanic mountains and set amid a coconut plantation.

But it isn't the stunning scenery which is getting featured on Instagram, but those visiting can't help pushing their butt onto the completely transparent swimming pool for the ultimate shot.

And while some guests nail the sexy pose, there are a few who haven't quite got it down yet. 

But there's plenty of other activities to enjoy at the five star property, which was the honeymoon destination of Miranda Kerr and Evan Spiegel last month.

There's also five restaurants and bars, 18 hole golf course and horse riding along the pristine beaches.
