The Greek beach that’s reached by parachute

Thrill seekers are launching themselves off cliffs so they can reach a small, pristine beach hidden on the Greek island of Zakynthos.

The terrifying drop is almost 200 metres, with base jumpers enjoying amazing views of the sparkling Ionian Sea as they descend.

If all goes to plan, the parachute deploys and the adrenaline junky will gently land on the isolated Navagio Beach.  

Once they’re on the sand there’s plenty to explore, including an abandoned ship that ran aground in the 1980s.

But, if you don’t like the idea of plummeting face-first, you can also get to the beach via tour boat.
