The infinity pool that’ll have you booking tickets to Greece

If you’re resisting the temptation to escape the Aussie winter, admiring this Santorini infinity pool isn’t going to help your resolve. It belongs to the Astarte Suites, a boutique hotel that boasts a five star location and promises six star service.

The hotel is perched on a clifftop with nothing interrupting views of the blue skies above and the blue sea below.  

As for the pool, it’s cut into the volcanic rock face and allows swimmers to float up to the edge to better enjoy the panorama. There’s also a bar serving light food and cocktails to guests, so there’s really no need to leave the poolside.

If you don’t like sharing, that’s fine. Some rooms have a private infinity pool, so guests can greedily soak up the sun alone.
