Belfast’s incredible Titanic Hotel reopens its doors

If you’re keen to relive to glory of Titanic, without the disastrous ending, it’s time to pay a visit to Belfast’s new and improved Titanic Hotel.

Situated in the former offices of Harland & Wolff Drawing Offices and Headquarters, the new and improved hotel has finally opened its doors after a two-year restoration.

Costing $4.6million, the incredible renovation has seen the entire 119-room hotel redesigned in the image of the famous ship, with a few new additions.  

Aside from updating all the rooms, the decades-old drawing offices have been transformed into the hotel's bar and ballroom. Plus, a 166-seat restaurant, The Wolff Grill, has also opened.

So what does the hotel actually have to do with the doomed voyage?

Back in April 1912, the hotel’s telephone exchange received the first news that the Titanic had hit an iceberg. To this day, the telephone room, as well as the lobby, former directors’ offices and board rooms have remained completely as they were 100 years ago.

For those looking to take their experience even further, just down the road from the hotel is the Titanic Belfast museum, the world’s largest visitor experience dedicated to the ship.
