Flight attendant reveals three things not to do when boarding: 'Most annoying thing'
Flight attendants have to put up with a lot of different passengers when working, and there are some things that will certainly make you stand out to the crew if you do them – for the wrong reasons.
In a video titled "A flight attendant's do's and don'ts when boarding an airplane", US cabin crew member Cici shared three things she regularly sees travellers doing that they need to stop.
"What is the most annoying thing fellow passengers do on flights?" she added in the caption.

The first has to do with carrying large backpacks.
Instead of having them on your back and then trying to swing them off in the middle of the aisle, she said "ideally" you should take your backpack off.
"Before getting on the plane to prevent hurting yourself or anyone else in the aisles," she added. "Or pay close attention to the people in the aisles."
Next, when you come to your assigned seat, Cici said "don't dig through your bags blocking aisles, looking for chargers, books, headphones, etc."
Instead, she recommended the use of a cross-body bag to have all the small things you need ready and accessible
Cici's last point had to do with phone usage while boarding, particularly around things like movies, music and Facetime.
"Ideally, don't be on the phone when boarding but if you are use a headset (but only one so you can hear people around you)."

"I can't tell you how many times I have been hit by someone's backpack!!!" one person wrote.
"Frequent traveller and aisle sitter here… it's the backpacks for me. People can be clueless!" another agreed.
Others just thought these things should be "common sense".
"People wait hours to board, but decide to get their crap out the suitcase once they get to their seats, blocking the passage," one person wrote.
While another added: "But these are just common sense?? I hate that people still block aisles."
