Walt Disney World has a brand new restaurant that will make you feel like you're dining on the Milky Way.

As part of major renovations for the park's 50th anniversary in October, Disney World's Epcot is seeing some major transformations, including the most recently revealed Space 220 restaurant.

In an exclusive sneak-peek, Disney World released a tour of Space 220 via the Instagram account of park imagineer, Zach Riddley.

The video guides you through the spaceship-themed restaurant which promises to "elevate your dining".

Diners will first need to step inside the park's first-ever space elevator, to then be transported to the Centauri Space Station for a meal "220 miles [354km] above the earth".

While the restaurant's menu is yet to be released, the Walt Disney World website describes it as a "modern American cuisine, out-of-this-world cocktails and a wide selection of craft beer."

Disney has confirmed a mid-September opening for the intergalactic restaurant, with bookings to dine-in not yet available.
