Chrissy Teigen's plane food blast may have landed her a job

It's no secret that airplane food can be pretty sucky.

The latest victim of an on-flight menu disaster was US model Chrissy Teigen. The celeb shared with her 10.7 million Twitter followers the beef she had with a less-than-appetising in-flight meal menu item on a Delta service  and the insult may have just landed the discerning foodie a job.

"I will never ever take flying first class for granted but this is atrocious," Teigen tweeted. "Plane shrimp are bad. Plane shrimp with avocado toast with capers? Dear God."

Rather than simply blasting the airline for its funky food choices, the star offered to assist Delta, revealing her apparent dreams of curating an airline menu.

The role as menu curator wouldn't exactly be too much of a stretch for Teigen, having released two cookbooks, Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat and Cravings: Hungry for More in the last two years.

And she's not alone in thinking she'd be a good fit for the role, with other celebs like comedian Mindy Kaling sending their support.

Delta airlines retweeted the original post, and hinted that they might just be open to a potential collaboration.

All that's left to do is wait, pray, and hope for temporary pause of nasty on-flight foods until our lord and saviour, Chrissy Teigen, comes to rescue us.
