Travel influencer slipped Black Lives Matter note on first class flight
A travel influencer was slipped a note about the Black Lives Matter movement while flying first class in the US this week.
Kellee Edwards, host of the US Travel Channel's series Mysterious Islands, was travelling with American Airlines when a flight attendant passed her the note.
On first glance, it looks like a basic first class card passed out by the airline – but Edwards noticed something extra written in the bottom corner.

"I see you. You matter. Black lives matter," read the postscript from flight attendant John McCullogh.
Touched by the "moving message", Edwards took to social media to share her appreciation and thanks.
"Now THIS is customer service. Such a simple gesture, but BEYOND meaningful," she tweeted.
"To simply be seen, in today's climate and world. I may or may not be tearing up as a result. Ok, I AM. What an amazing Flight Attendant John is @AmericanAir! Thank you John!"
The kind flight attendant later told Good Morning America that he felt a connection with Edwards and was "comfortable enough to share something more heartfelt" with her.
"I immediately knew it was well-received when I saw the happiness in her eyes and the smile behind her mask," he told GMA.
"I'm happy I get to work for a company that connects people and places and I'm beyond proud of American's actions to promote inclusivity."

Edwards, a Black woman, showed how much the "simply kind gesture" meant to her during a time when anti-Black sentiment and racial prejudice are hot button topics in the US.

There have been ongoing protests, demonstrations and riots in America since the death of Black man George Floyd in police custody earlier this year.
The response to his killing sparked new discussions around systemic racism and saw the Black Lives Matter movement pushed to the forefront of American politics.
Unfortunately, this has also prompted an outpouring of racism from anti-Black groups and individuals in the States.
That sentiment was echoed in many of the responses to Edwards' tweet, including vile racist comments aimed at Edwards herself.
"This is very sweet. And I'm so sorry for the white supremacy pile-on in your comments," one fan said in a bid to drown out the hatred.
