The research team at Safari Bags has compiled a study on the most popular sunset spots across the globe to figure out which reigns supreme.
Using Instagram hashtag volume, they've come up with the most popular spots - read through to see the top 10.
10. Perth, Australia
The only Aussie spot to make the list, Perth has a distinct advantage of being on the west coast: beachfront sunsets.
Cottesloe Beach and City Beach are popular sunset spots, as is Kings Park, where you can watch the sun sink over the CBD skyline.
9. Seattle, USA
Located on the west coast of the USA, Seattle has great sunsets over the harbour, illuminating its iconic skyline.
The city is also close to amazing nature and national parks which provide excellent sunset viewing options.
8. Key West, USA
This island at the very very tip of Florida has amazing sunsets as it's completely surrounded by water.
Hashtags for sunsets in Key West have increased 20 per cent this year vs last year.
6. San Diego, USA
'Sunsets' might make you think of LA, but this city in Southern California also has amazing skies when the sun goes down.
The neighbourhood of Sunset Cliffs is a great spot to take a picnic and watch the magic happen.
5. Maui, Hawaii
Of course Hawaii made this list. Any beach along the west coast of the island will give you amazing sunset views over the water.
For an adventure, Haleakala National Park offers sunset views from the top of a volcano.
4. Ibiza, Spain
The party island of Ibiza has great sunset views from its many beach clubs that tourists love.
For something a bit more low-key, head to Sa Talaia, Ibiza's highest point, or the secluded cove of Cala Carbó.
2. Bali, Indonesia
Bali is the second most popular sunset destination on Instagram with a 10 per cent increase in tagged posts over the last two years.
Tanah Lot Temple, perched on a cliff, is the ultimate sunset viewing spot.

California currently tops the list of the best sunset spots in 2024 with 283,000 Instagram posts.
Though its a huge state, almost every spot along the coast - and inland - offers amazing sunset views.
In LA, your best bet for a perfect spot is the Griffith Observatory.
El Matador State Beach, Hermosa Beach Pier and Manhattan Beach all offer great beach sunset views, too.
