Tourists are getting their kit off at this national park because butt jokes will never not be funny

Regardless of how cultured or sophisticated you think you are, butt jokes will always be funny. We don't make the rules, we just report facts.

So, naturally, tourists visiting Booti Booti National park – 280 kilometres north-east of Sydney – are getting their bums out in honour of its silly name, snapping hilarious pics then uploading them to Instagram.

Be warned, you're about to see a lot of bums.

How or when exactly the trend began is unclear, but the hashtag #BootiBooti has racked up thousands of posts, featuring brave visitors putting their cheeks on display.

Besides the perfect excuse for a shameless booty pic, Booti Booti national park is comprised of an 8-kilometre peninsula between the ocean and a lake, complete with pristine beaches and rain forests to explore.
