Airline with the comfiest seats revealed in passenger choice awards
Flying in a plane is never going to be the most comfortable experience - but if you choose the right airline, that doesn't have to be the case.
Fiji Airways has been named the airline with the comfiest seats in the South Pacific region.
The island country's national carrier also took home the gong for best on-board entertainment.

The APEX Passenger Choice Awards for 2024, which were announced overnight in Singapore, awarded Fiji Airlines in both categories. This is the second year in a row the airline has been awarded for their seat comfort.
Andre Viljoen, Managing Director, and CEO of Fiji Airways said: "We are immensely proud to receive these prestigious awards, which are a testament to the tireless efforts made by our team to innovate our offerings."
"Being recognised by our esteemed guests gives us the motivation to do even better and offer an exceptional Fijian experience at every touchpoint of the journey."

Rex Airlines was awarded Best Cabin Service Rex Airlines
Some Australian airlines were also recognised with Best in South Pacific awards. Rex won in the category of Best Cabin Service, while Qantas won for their in-flight Wi-Fi.
Air New Zealand took home the top gong in the region, being awarded best airline overall in the South Pacific.
Along with their comfy seats, Fiji Airways was also recognised for their stellar in-flight entertainment.
The airline has added new-release titles from Disney and HBO to its inflight entertainment content recently, providing more than 840 hours of content.
On some newer airlines, guests will be able to stream content directly to their devices, while business class passengers will be given an iPad to use for the flight's duration.

The APEX Passenger Choice Awards for 2024 recognised airlines from around the world, with Cathay Pacific being tipped as having the best seat comfort of any airline.
