World's most expensive football flops
The Chelsea nightmare is almost over for Fernando Torres with news the striker is set for a move to Italian giants AC Milan.
The Spanish international arrived from Liverpool in 2011 with a big reputation and an even bigger price-tag – a British record fee of $90 million.
But the 30-year-old failed to deliver, scoring just 20 goals in 110 appearances for the Blues.
That type of goal-to-games ratio means Torres can now be rated amongst the world’s most expensive football flops …
Whereas he couldn't stop scoring for Liverpool, hitting 65 goals for the Reds.
