World's first fire-breathing BASE Jump

Extraordinary footage has emerged of the world's first fire-breathing BASE Jump.

Renowned daredevil JP de Kam coupled two of his greatest passions for the death-defying stunt in Switzerland's Lauterbrunnen Valley.While the epic feat was accomplished last October, only now has vision emerged online, showing the Dutchman launching himself off a 700 metre cliff.De Kam has practised the art of fire-breathing for several years and just before the jump is filmed drinking his so-called 'dragon fuel'.With a lit torch he hurls himself backwards off the cliff and immediately blows a trail of flames that follow his descent.De Kam then manages a mid-air spin to track the cliff face before finally pulling his parachute to land safely on the valley floor."I am a professional fire breather and an experienced BASE jumper. So when someone asked me why don’t I combine the two, it had me thinking," de Kam explained to GrindTV."I did a week of practicing jumps to get my barrel roll perfect and then put myself in a funny outfit and did it."
