What made this baseballer tackle and punch a teammate?

Philadelphia Phillies baseballer Odubel Herrera has been punched by one of his teammates in a shock reaction to a match-winning play.

Playing against Tampa Bay, Herrera scored a walk-off hit at the bottom of the 10th inning to help the Phillies claim a 5-4 victory at Citizens Bank Park.

Following the play jubilant teammates ran in to mob the centre fielder.

But rather than a pat on the back or a hug, 193cm tall Jonathan Papelbon charged at the 23-year-old, grabbed him around the neck and threw him to the ground.

The pitcher then jumped on Herrera's back and began punching him in the ribs.

A quick look at the footage in isolation gives the impression of a player row.

But rather than any act of aggression it was all a piece of playful celebration from an over-exuberant "lil' Papi".

We'd hate to see how Papeldon would react if he won a World Series.
