Khabib Nurmagomedov claims to have a WWE offer following McGregor fiasco

UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov may have revealed his next move following his brutal fight with Conor McGregor at UFC 229. 

Khabib, who has threatened to quit the UFC if his sparring partner Zubaira Tukhugov is fired for the altercation with McGregor, took to his personal Twitter account to float a potential move to the WWE.

If Khabib is to move from the UFC to the WWE, the move would not be unprecedented with previous UFC stars Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey enjoying great success following their UFC careers. 

However, it remains to be seen whether the Russian's claims are accurate or simply just trash talk from Khabib, who also seemed to call out Lesnar in his tweet with the hashtag saying "smash Lesnar".

Interestingly, Khabib's rival McGregor has also discussed potential moves to the WWE in the past.

"I have thought about [WWE],” McGregor said in 2016.

"For the most part, I think these guys are p-----s, to be honest. They’re messed up p-----s if you ask me. Fair play to Brock [Lesnar]; he got in and fought, but at the end of the day, he was juiced up to the f-----g eyeballs. How can I respect that?"
