Mexican fighter Gabriel Benitez executes stunning counter-attack in UFC Chile

An amazing split-second turnaround has left fans at UFC Chile stunned after Mexican featherweight Gabriel Benitez executed a brutal takedown.

Benitez was up against Humberto Bandenay when Bandenay appeared to have the Mexican in trouble with his legs wrapped around Benitez.

However, Benitez followed up with a brutal counter-attack that nobody in the arena saw coming.

Benitez was somehow able to life up Bandenay before body-slamming him WWE-style, before following up with a flurry of brutal hammer-fists to end the bout.

With the win, the 29-year-old from Tijuana was able to move to a 5-2 record in the UFC.

Benitez was able to take home is very first UFC Performance of the Night honour for the stunning turn-around.
