UFC fighter cops instant karma KO after cheap shot

A UFC fighter has been handed some brutal comeuppance for some horrible sportsmanship after trying a nasty cheap shot during a fight at UFC 196.

In the first round of their welterweight fight, Erick Silva offered Nordine Taleb a friendly glove touch only to try a sucker punch left hook.

Silva’s dirty tactic didn’t work with Taleb managing to reel away and plot revenge.

Revenge he delivered 90 seconds into the second round when he caught Silva’s attempted kick before sending the Brazilian crashing to the canvas with a powerful right hand and finishing him with a couple of shots on the mat.

Taleb said after the fight that he was wary of a cheap shot from Silva.

“I did it on purpose, I knew he would do something,” he said of the cheap shot on the first round

“I know he’s a dirty fighter and he wants to finish quick.”

“It’s like I was reading his thoughts.”
