Australian Rob Wilkinson had a nightmare start to his UFC career, copping a brutal TKO defeat to Siyar Bahadurzada in Rotterdam.

The Afghani welterweight proved a handful for the previously undefeated Tasmanian on debut in the UFC. Wilkinson, 25, tried to take the contest to the floor but each time Bahadurzada successfully got back to his feet.

With just over 2 minutes left in the second round 'Razor' took a violent left-right combination that rocked him back into the cage, and from there it was only a matter of time.

Bahadurzada (23-6-1) unleashed punch after punch as Wilkinson (11-1) battled to defend himself. Though a little late, eventually referee Leon Roberts stepped in and ended the carnage.
