Alexander Volkanovski to defend featherweight title at UFC 273 against The Korean Zombie
Australian featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski will defend his title again 'The Korean Zombie' Chan Sung Jung at UFC 273.
Volkanovski has dominated since his UFC debut back in 2017, winning all eight of his fights, and snaring the title from Max Holloway along the way.
He defended the belt in 2020 against Holloway, and then again last September against Brian Ortega.
Volkanovski was originally set to defend the title in March against Holloway in their trilogy fight, but just two days after it was announced, the former champ had to pull out due to injury.
UFC 273 was originally rumoured to be taking place in New York, but instead Volkanovski will defend the title in Jacksonville, Florida.
It will be another huge card for audiences in this part of the world, just two months after Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker face off for the middleweight title at UFC 271.
