Jack Della Maddelena wins debut fight in UFC in impressive fashion
Jack Della Maddalena has got his UFC career off to the perfect start, defeating Pete Rodriguez via knockout in less than three minutes.
Della Maddalena got on the plane to the USA without anyone to fight, when his initial opponent, Warlley Alves, was ruled out.
Rodriguez stepped into the breach but was no match for the Perth local, who has now won 11 professional fights in a row.

None will be sweeter than this, his first in the UFC.
"Oh my goodness that was smooth," Joe Rogan said of Della Maddelena's final combination that ended with a left hook that sent his opponent to the canvas.

"That was nasty," Daniel Cormier added.
"Dude was sleeping on his feet."
Della Maddelena won his way into the UFC via Dana White's Contender Series last year.
"To be honest, I was waiting for the jitters and they never came," Della Maddalena said afterwards about his debut in the organisation.
He also cheekily nominated himself for performance of the night, saying "that's what I like to call the 50G spot baby!" As he watched the replay of his knockout blow.
Rogan said that the Aussie was "something special."
"He's only 25-years-old. This kid has a huge future ahead of him."
Francis Ngannou retained his heavyweight title against interim champ Cyril Gane, winning the main event by unanimous decision.
In the co-main event, Deiveson Figueiredo defeated Brandon Moreno, also by unanimous decision, regaining the title Moreno took from him last year.
The three have now faced off in a trio of amazing fights, the first of which ended in a draw.
