UFC 246 McGregor vs Cerrone: Fight time, card, Conor vs Cowboy ultimate guide

Conor McGregor is set to return to the octagon when he takes on American Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone in the main event of UFC 246 in a welterweight bout.

McGregor heads into the event with a record of 21-4-0, while Cerrone walks in with a 36-13-0 and 1NC sheet.

For McGregor, it's his first fight in 15 months since Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated him at UFC 229.

The last time the Irishman came out of the Octagon victorious was back in November of 2016 when he defeated Eddie Alvarez via TKO in the main event of UFC 205.

For Cerrone, it will be his fifth fight in almost 12 months.

But Cerrone will be looking to bounce back after being TKO'd in his previous two fights.

McGregor, 31, is currently listed at a height of 1.75m, weighing 70.3kg and a reach of 188cm.

Cerrone, 36, is much taller than his Irish opponent, listed at 1.85m, but also weighing 70.3kg. Cowboy's reach is slightly shorter at 185.4cm.

FIGHT TIME

UFC 246 will commence on Sunday 19 January 2020 from 12pm AEDT, with McGregor V Cerrone expected to start shortly after 4pm AEDT.

UFC 246 is at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

HOW TO WATCH

The broadcast will commence on ESPN from 12pm AEDT featuring just the preliminary fights.

But the main card featuring McGregor V Cerrone will be available on Main EVENT, Fetch TV and UFC Fight Pass.

UFC Fight Pass will feature the entire event, including the early preliminary card.

TAB have Conor McGregor as the strong favourite paying $1.33 to win, while Cerrone is paying $3.30 to come out victorious.
