UFC 229 Ultimate Guide: Conor McGregor v Khabib Nurmagomedov, fight time, odds, weigh in

Both Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov have made weight ahead for their blockbuster clash at UFC 229.

There were fears that Khabib would fail to cut weight in time, due to the Russian's poor history in doing so, but he checked in on the scales at a flat 155lb (70.3kg), while McGregor checked in at just under Khabib at 154.5lb (70kg).

Once again, the pair were unable to face off, as is custom during the UFC's pre-bout weigh-ins with McGregor reportedly sleeping in and arriving late.

Khabib's history of making weight is more than dubious to say the least.

The Russian forfeited 20 percent of his wallet to Abel Trujillo after coming in almost four pounds heavy in May 2013, before having to strip naked to make weight against Pat Healy a few months later.

However, Khabib's most notorious moment came when a frantic attempt to cut bodyweight resulted in him being rushed to hospital in the middle of the night.

UFC 229 will take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The early fights will take place on Sunday, October 7 at 9am AEST while the televised prelims will begin from 11am with the main card scheduled to begin at approximately 1pm.
