Twitter drags Tom Brady into Stormy Daniels-Donald Trump affair

One of the world’s most famous and recognisable sports stars has been dragged into the ongoing feud between President Donald Trump and adult film star Stormy Daniels.

Daniels claims she had an affair with Trump in 2006 – long before he had even considered a career in politics, but only a few months after the birth of his son, Barron.

Yesterday, Daniels released a composite sketch of a man who she claims threatened her to “leave Trump alone”.

Along with the releases of the sketch was the offer of a $100,000 reward for anyone who could identify the man.

Well, it didn’t take long for the wags of Twitter to point out that the sketch bore an uncanny resemblance to legendary NFL star Tom Brady

But before too many people start claiming that hundred grand as theirs, having nailed Brady like the Philly defence in February, there’s the little matter of the description of the alleged assailant at the top of the sketch.

Firstly, “between his 30s and early 40s” – well, Brady was 34 at the time, so that part passes.

Secondly, he was “lean but ‘fit’” – listed at 102 kilos and with a set of shoulders that see him walk through doors sidewards, Brady’s not exactly “lean”, but he’s certainly “fit”.

Thirdly, the sketched man stood between “5'9" and 6'” tall.

And that’s where we rule Brady out, because no one’s mistaking his 6’3” frame with being 5”9’.

Damn. So close to that hundred grand.
