'Someone is smoking weed': Djokovic

Novak Djokovic loves the grass at Wimbledon, but it seems to be the only grass he has an affinity for.

At least that was the wash-up from his semi-final win over Frenchman Jeremy Chardy at the Montreal Open after apparently smelling someone smoking cannabis in the stands.

Djokovic was preparing to take his courtside seat after wrapping up the first set 6-4 when he approached the chair umpire with his unusual complaint.

"Someone is smoking weed, I can smell it, I'm getting dizzy," he said.

"Seriously someone is getting high."

Djoviokic then took his seat and began gesturing the action of someone smoking a joint.

Fortunately, the dizzy spell and distraction didn't derail the Serbian's momentum with the world's best player going on to beat Chardy.

As for the strange smell, it remains a mystery.
