Roger Federer snubs wife Mirka in Twitter comeback roast

Roger Federer has hilariously stunned fans after he snubbed his own wife when he encouraged followers on social media to reveal what players they'd like to see back on the court.

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Federer has been heavily active on social media, most notably by starting a viral trend when he shared a video of himself on twitter hitting a ball up and down a wall.

The video led to thousands of fans and even world No.1 Novak Djokovic replicating their own versions of the challenge.

But in his most recent twitter craze, Federer has been responding to his mighty list of fans around the world on who they want to see back on the court.

Whether it was Lleyton Hewitt, Pete Sampras or Bjorn Borg, the current world No.4 had a cheeky one-liner or a GIF to reply with for every suggestion he liked.

However, when it came to Federer's wife, Mirka, the Swiss star gave off a rather cheeky response.

Federer refused to acknowledge whether or not he'd like to share the court again with Mirka after a fan shared a photo of the pair playing together.

Jokes aside, Federer had nothing but fun responses for all the Australian nominations that came his way.

In a tweet suggesting Pat Rafter, the 20-time Grand Slam winner responded by saying, "love the guy."

Continuing to have fun with his fans, Federer sarcastically debated whether or not he would chose the great Rod Laver while also giving the nod to Ken "Muscles" Rosewall.
