World No.1 Novak Djokovic has lived up to his nickname after finding a novel way to warm-up for the final of the Australian Open – taking pot shots at unsuspecting reporters.

The 'Djoker' was having a hit-out on Rod Laver Arena before the women's final when he spotted former Australian Davis Cup captain Josh Eagle, reporting for the 'Macca's Legends' segment, on the side of the court.

Handed a ball, Djokovic attempted a misplaced lob in the direction of Eagle, who had his back turned to the star, before setting up for a rally with his hitting partner.

However, not pleased with his previous attempt, the 28-year-old found another ball and again launched a shot at the sideline target.

But despite grabbing the attention of Eagle, Djokovic's radar was still a little out of tune, this time the shot falling between reporter and camera.

Luckily for the Serbian, Eagle won't be making an appearance on centre court when the showdown for the title against Andy Murray begins on Sunday night.
