Rafael Nadal will face American Taylor Fritz in the Mexican Open final in Acapulco.
The Spanish world No.2 has booked his place in Sunday's decider with a 6-3 6-2 win over Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov.
While top-seeded Nadal cruised to a straight-sets victory, Fritz was made to earn his ticket in a 2-6 7-5 6-3 win over compatriot John Isner.

In Santiago, top seed Christian Garin was forced to retire from his Chile Open quarter-final against Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild.
The 182-ranked Wild will meet Argentine qualifier Renzo Olivo in the last four after upset sixth seed Hugo Dellien in straight sets.
In the other semi-final, Spain's Albert Ramos-Vinolas will face Casper Ruud of Norway.
