Murray swears at ball girl

Powered by

Foul-mouthed Andy Murray has been caught dropping the F-bomb at a ball girl after she accidently threw a ball at him during the Paris Masters.

Playing against Belgian David Goffin, the Scotsman had taken his seat during a drinks break between the change of ends when the ball came flying toward him.

The ball knocked a bottle of water from Murray's grasp, prompting him to throw up his hands in dismay and yell "what the f---?"

And while he was quickly able to cool down and regain his composure the incident again underlines the world No.2's short fuse.

Murray, of course, has a history of churllsh on court behavior but was at least able to pull his head in after the match after the youngster, named Lorenza, took to Twitter to apologise.

The contrite ball girl posted a photo of herself holding up a sign with the a love heart and the message: "Andy, so sorry."

Murray, who won the match 6-1, 6-0, before later going on to lose the final 6-2, 6-4 to Novak Djokovic, then tweeted back his appreciation.

"Adorable (laughing face) gave me a little fright but it woke me up (thumbs up) see you tomorrow lorenza."
