Federer is in his 23rd year on tour and playing his 20th Open, yet after his latest fairly unremarkable victory, Mirka was still capturing the post-match interview on her phone.
She has watched him win 20 Grand Slams, yet still felt that this first-week Wednesday night match in Melbourne was a moment to treasure.
Federer, 38, has bigger matches to come and no doubt there will be more memorable moments for Mirka to record.
Sometimes a divisive figure, given her fierce support for Roger during matches, she melted a few hearts on Wednesday night.
And things are going beautifully for Roger, who is chasing a seventh Open title.
