Alex De Minaur battles to Atlanta Open final, on brink of second ATP Tour title

Alex de Minaur has beaten home hope Reilly Opelka in the Atlanta Open to move within one match of claiming his second career ATP title.

The Australian No.1 beat the American 7-6 (6-4) 6-7 (5-7) 6-3 in the Georgian state capital on Saturday and will now play either Briton Cameron Norrie or American Taylor Fritz in Sunday's final.

If he wins, De Minaur will claim his second career-title after his Sydney International victory earlier this year.
