Roberto Bautista Agut is the only seed still standing at the Valencia Open after easing past German qualifier Mischa Zverev 6-4 6-3.
The Spanish world No.24 will face American Steve Johnson in the last four after he upset sixth seed Guillermo Garcia Lopez 7-5 6-4 on Friday.
Canada's Vasek Posposil cruised into the semis with a 6-3 6-3 win over another German qualifier Daniel Brands.

The Wimbledon quarter-finalist faces Joao Sousa on Saturday after the Portuguese beat Pablo Cuevas 6-4 6-4.
