Behind-the-back magic secures great rally

It looks as though even Jonathan Groth didn’t actually believe what he had just done.

The Danish table tennis player pulled off on the best behind-the-back shots you are likely to see.

He looked down and out in the rally. He was forced wide and his opponent, Swede Mattias Karlsson was ready to finish him off.

But the behind-the-back shot disrupted Karlsson enough to secure the point.

As far as the match goes, Karlsson won a best-of-seven-set thriller 4-3.

He won the match, but it was Groth who won everyone over with his stunning effort.
