'Hard to know how to feel': LawConnect wins second-straight Sydney to Hobart

LawConnect took out a second-straight Sydney To Hobart yacht race in the early hours of Saturday morning, but it was hardly a celebration at the finish line.
The supermaxi, skippered by Christian Beck, picked up line honours once again in the famous race less than two days after leaving the Harbour City.
However, after two sailors lost their lives in the race, there were mixed emotions for the crew when they arrived in Tasmania.

"You never know what to say or think," crew boss Chris Nicholson said.

"But you think about the families and the crews on the boats and even the rescuers, everyone that had anything to do with it.
"It's hard to know how to feel. This is very bittersweet because we are all thinking about our fellow sailors, their families, everyone."
Beck, who owns the vessel, left the scene immediately after the victory due to illness.
Celestial, a 70-foot boat was about 20 nautical miles behind the winner in second place, with Wild Thing further back in third spot.
Comanche - the main rival of LawConnect - dropped out with a damaged mainsail on the first night of the race and did not factor into the finish.
It was one of 17 yachts to withdraw from the race by Friday morning.
