Stunt rider’s video game move

A moto stunt rider has shown amazing nerve and balance, riding across a European bridge arch to capture spectacular footage on a GoPro camera.

Producing a move straight out of the video game Grand Theft Auto, the rider, who is part of Finland's nine-man Stunt Freaks Team, has given viewers a vertigo-inducing view of his daredevil antics.

Hopping onto the bridge arch, which appears to be about 30m above the water at it's highest point, the rider expertly negotiates the perilously narrow surface and handles the crossing with ease.

Shot from a GoPro camera mounted on a pole, the footage puts viewers right in the rider's seat.

And while he handles the stunt with ease, it makes you wonder about the consequences should he lose his balance.

It comes after footage emerged of a similar archway crossing on a bridge by US BMX rider Mat Olson in Fortworth, Texas, in January.

It begs the question how high are these blokes prepared to go? Though we expect the Sydney Harbour Bridge is a bridge too far or high.
