Steph Curry schooled on trash talking
Basketball sensation Stephen Curry has revealed that US President Obama tried to trash talk him during a game of golf.
Curry and US First Lady Michelle Obama both appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
The Warriors guard spoke in length of his golf outings with the US president, which he lost.
'You know during his speeches he has that slow cadence that kind of draws you in? He brings that same kind of vibe to his trash talk,' Curry said.
'So I'll hit a shot and it'll bounce, and he'll look at me and go: "Yeah, that's not a good shot. I'm going to need you to do better next time,'' he added, mimicking the president's delivery.
Then First Lady Obama suggested the three point shooting sensation should fire up and trash talk back to the president.
"Talk about his ears," Michelle said. 'As you're putting, you want to say: "The shadow from your ears is really messing up my putt." Try that one.'
Solid advice.
