Sports presenter has meltdown over stolen story

The newsroom can be a territorial environment where one stolen story can break down the working relationship between reporters.

Even a story as old and well reported as LeBron James starring in the remake of Space Jam.

KRON sports anchor Gary Radnich went into a meltdown after his news host let spill the now ancient story that NBA superstar James would take over from legend basketball player Michael Jordan in the cartoon movie.

The news host could barely get a word in to defend herself as Radnich shot down her excuses, tore down their friendship and generally set the precedent of journalists sticking to what they knew best.

"Have you ever heard me say 'oh it's warm weather today'?" Radnich asked.

"I stay in my lane."

However, the bust up seemed to be just a bit of sarcastic fun between friends with Radnich later taking to social media to end the "feedback" he had been receiving.

"Wow! I must be a good actor," he wrote on Facebook.

"I'm playing!"
