Skater switches board with epic front flip

A skateboarder has achieved the seemingly impossible after side flipping out of a skate bowl and on to a completely different board in the US.

Preston Mitchel pulled off one of the year's most spectacular tricks while riding in Duncan Creek Park in Georgia.

Flying down from the opposite face, Mitchel attacks the bowl with tremendous speed and launches himself into the air as he hits the lip.

Keeping his legs tight to his body, he performs a near-perfect side flip and sticks the landing on an awaiting board.

The completion of the manoeuvre is met with howls of celebration with the cameraman calling out to Mitchel as he rolls on the second deck.

However, the clearly excited Mitchel can only utter the one expression: "oh my god".
