Seahawks mascot goes rogue, lands on fan's head

A Seattle Seahawks NFL supporter got more than he bargained for when the team’s mascot went rogue after leading the team onto the field.
Seattle’s mascot, Taima the Augur hawk, can be seen flying over the crowd at CenturyLink Field in the footage of the match between the Seahawks and the Giants.
The bird spots an older man and lands on his head, perching there for a moment before scratching around as the man hunches over.
To his credit, the man takes it all in his stride, even reaching out to pat Taima after the bird found a more comfortable - and still - place to perch on a woman’s shoulder.
It all ended well, with Seattle winning the match 38-17.
Since 2007, Taima has led the Seahawks out onto the field before flying to its hander, who rewards it with some quail meat.
