Wallaby Palu back with the Waratahs

The NSW Waratahs have received an unexpected bonus with veteran Wallabies No.8 Wycliff Palu back in their ranks for the coming Super Rugby season.

Palu, who has won 121 Waratahs caps, rejoined the Sydney-based franchise after prolonged rehabilitation on a hamstring injury suffered during the Wallabies' 2015 Rugby World Cup match against Uruguay forced him to miss most of the Japanese Top League season.

Halfback Matt Lucas has re-signed with the Waratahs until the end of next year.
