Rugby player lashes out at touch judge

Video has emerged of a rugby player in England attacking a match official in a lower tier club match.

The assault occurred during a  match between Chichester and Dorking and it's not pretty.

The vision shows the touch judge moving into the in-goal area after a try was scored and then a scuffle ensues with the official sprawled across the ground after the incident.

The player lashed out after Dorking score a try down the official's left-hand touchline and he initially speaks to the referee. He then puts his arm around him as they walk into the in-goal area together, before apparently punching him.

The punch sparked a melee in the aftermath with both sides jumping in and having a crack at each other.

For the record Chichester won the match 18-13.
