Code-hopper Marika Koroibete is in doubt to make his Melbourne Rebels debut at rugby's Brisbane Global Tens tournament due to a knee injury.

Flying winger Koroibete - who went on the Wallabies' spring tour of Europe within weeks of playing for Melbourne Storm in the NRL grand final - has been named in the Rebel's squad for next week's pre-season tournament subject to a fitness test after incurring the injury at training.

Recruits Jackson Garden-Bachop, Tyrel Lomax, Jack Maddocks, Murray Douglas and Amanaki Mafi are expected to get their first taste of Rebels action at the tournament, being held on February 11 and 12.
