Ricciardo awarded prestigious F1 trophy
Australia's Daniel Ricciardo has joined an elite club of F1 greats by winning the prestigious Trofeo Bandini.
The award is named after legendary Ferrari driver Lorenzo Bandini and has been awarded annually since 1992 to 'an outstanding figure from the world of motor racing'.
Ricciardo's prize was for his 2013 season, which preceded his breakout debut season with Red Bull in which he has snared three Grand Prix victories. Ricciardo's countryman Mark Webber is among past winners.
