Hill had thrown 89 pitches and struck out nine when first-year manager Dave Roberts replaced him at the start of the eighth inning.Apart from the decision that cost Hill potentially a perfect game, one of the highlights of the match was the final out of the seventh inning.
Dodgers left fielder Yasiel Puig, who was back in the Major Leagues after some time in the minors, made an outstanding diving catch.

Nice play by Puig especially since he has been out of favour with the Dodgers for some time.
