Pirates baserunner in miracle escape

It's not every day that a baserunner steals the show in America's Major League Baseball, so hats off to the Pittsburgh Pirates' Josh Harrison.

His side played the New York Mets over the weekend and while they managed to celebrate a 3-2 win, it was a miracle escape by Harrison that has generated global interest.Harrison, who is a specialist fielder, was attempting to reach third base during his team's 10th innings when he found himself wedged between two rivals who had the ball and were closing in for a tag.It was a classic case of cat and mouse, with Harrison facing the improbable task of making it to third or somehow scampering back to the safety of second base.The odds were certainly stacked against him, but with a couple of freaky manoeuvres he somehow found his way around the pair to advance to third.The play has since become an online hit and is definitely worth watching.
