Photographer trampled by horse at trots
WWOS staff
A photographer was lucky to escape with a broken collarbone after being trampled by a horse at a harness racing meet in Finland.
Footage from the race in Helsinki shows the horse, Laramie Point, drift to the outside of the track as it approaches the finish line well out of contention.
Pekka Salonen is seen on the edge of the track concentrating on getting a shot of the horses as they crossed the finish line, completely unaware of the wayward horse until moments before the horse sent him flying to the ground.

The photographer was told by the doctors that he suffered such minor incidents in the horror accident.
After spending a night in hospital, the photographer was released.
