NFL hopeful's embarrassing wardrobe malfunction

As one of the chosen few to have been asked to compete at this year's NFL Combine, Mississippi State's Chris Jones was hoping to make a name for himself.

Just not like this.

The defensive linesman was competing in the 40-yard dash when he suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction that saw his genitals pop-out of his spandex shorts.

But just like the professional he hopes to become, he ran on unperturbed before finally crossing the line and crashing to earth in an attempt to hide - and fix - the problem.

Jones still clocked a respectable time of 5.03 seconds for the event, though it won't be known for weeks if he'll secure an NFL contract.

At least he'll always have this moment in the spotlight.
