Manny Pacquiao takes another jab at boxing officials over controversial Gennady Golovkin-Canelo Alvarez draw

It's nice to see that Manny Pacquiao has moved on after losing to Aussie Jeff Horn.

The former champion boxer was quick to tweet his disgust after the middleweight title bout between Gennady Golovkin and Canelo Alvarez in Las Vegas ended in a controversial draw.

Many believed that Golovkin was the winner after absorbing everything that Alvarez had thrown at him but the judge's scorecards told a difference story.

One judge scored the fight 115-113 to Golovkin, one had it at a 114-all draw, but perhaps the most stunning card was the judge who awarded the bout 118-110 to Alvarez.

Pacquiao, who complained following his loss to Horn in July only for the WBO to still declare Horn the winner after rescoring the fight, took to social media to complain.

"Did they bring these judges over from Australia?" Pacquiao asked.

In his defence, he wasn't the only one to question the decision with perhaps the most scathing critique from another one of Horn's knockers, Teddy Atlas.

Atlas, who bailed up the Aussie champion immediately after his win to tell him he thought he'd lost the fight, said the Golovkin-Canelo bout was further evidence the sport was corrupt.

"Boxing doesn’t honor the things it should honor," Atlas said.

"It honors money, control, power. And there’s only certain power brokers in boxing, certain promoters, and they have the power.

"They have control who the judges are going to be, who the judges aren’t going to be, who the judges know if they want to work, who they have to vote for.

"Las Vegas, where the money is going to come back there for the rematch, there's no other way.

"How can I stand here all week and say that there is going to be a controversial outcome? How do I know that?”

Both boxers have already indicated they're keen for a rematch.

"Of course I want a rematch," Golovkin said.

"I want a fight. A true fight. I have my belts. I want a championship fight."

Alvarez said he was more than willing to do it again.

"Obviously yes, if the people want it," Alvarez said.

"He didn't win, it was a draw. I always said I was going to be a step ahead of him."
